Hello Everyone!!!
Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted. There's been a lot going on in the past few weeks! We just had our High School Reach Retreat two weeks ago, and last week was our Jr. High Ropes Retreat. Both were awesome to attend!
The High School Retreat was put on by REACH: a team of young adults that travels around the U.S. to giving great Catholic Retreats. Retreats are always a great way for teens to make new friends and build relationships with others who share their same faith. Check out this video to get a glimpse of the weekend.
The Jr. High headed to a ropes course at Camp Yamhill where they worked on team building skills as well as mastering fears and helping each other reach their goals. They battled the rain to complete an obstacle course, solved puzzles together, and climbed trees and telephone poles (harnessed to a rope of course!). One girl at first refused to climb a tree, but after persuading her to at least put the harness on and climb a few steps, she climbed all the way to the top...all 120 feet!!! Anything is possible! Check out this video on the trip.
